SNL-Tech Services Managed IT Service Plans for Small Businesses
Managed IT Service Plans
Managed IT pricing at SNL-Tech Services is based primarily on the number of devices being managed. The right plan also depends on the technology your business relies on, the complexity of the environment and whether there are additional security, compliance or support requirements.
These plans provide a starting point for ongoing Managed IT Services. I review the environment before finalizing a proposal so the scope matches what the business actually needs rather than forcing every company into the same package.

New Managed IT Client Onboarding
Before I can responsibly manage an IT environment, I need to understand what is already there. New Managed IT clients may require an initial onboarding and environment review before ongoing management begins.
Depending on the business, onboarding can include reviewing devices, users, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, administrative access, networks, backups, security tools, business applications, vendor relationships and existing documentation. I also identify issues that need to be corrected before or during the transition into Managed IT.
Onboarding and major remediation work are quoted separately because every environment is different. A well documented business with current systems may require relatively little cleanup, while an environment with years of missing documentation, outdated accounts or security gaps may require a larger initial project.
What Is Not Automatically Included in the Monthly Plan
Managed IT covers the ongoing management and review of the technology defined in the agreement. Some projects and third party costs are separate because they vary significantly between businesses.
These may include:
-
New computers, servers, networking equipment and other hardware
-
Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and other software licensing
-
Third party backup subscriptions
-
Specialized cybersecurity products
-
Major server migrations or cloud migrations
-
New office or location buildouts
-
Full IT Baseline Assessments
-
Microsoft 365 Audits performed outside the Managed IT onboarding scope
-
AI Governance Assessments
-
Initial Incident Response Plan development
-
Large HIPAA, FTC Safeguards or CMMC technical implementation projects
-
Major remediation projects
-
Specialized third party vendor services
If something falls outside the regular Managed IT scope, I explain that before the work begins and provide a separate quote when appropriate.
Need an Assessment Instead of Managed IT?
Not every business needs an ongoing Managed IT agreement. If you need an independent review, want to understand a specific part of your environment or already have an IT provider, SNL-Tech Services also offers standalone IT assessments and audits.
Available assessments include Microsoft 365 Audits, Google Workspace Audits, IT Baseline Assessments, Cyber Insurance Readiness Assessments, AI Governance Assessments and Incident Response Planning.
Need Technical Compliance Implementation?
Businesses with HIPAA, FTC Safeguards, CMMC or other regulatory and contractual responsibilities may need technical implementation and documentation beyond normal Managed IT management.
SNL-Tech Services provides technical compliance implementation, remediation, documentation and ongoing IT management within the technology environment while keeping legal advice, formal assessments and certification responsibilities separate.
Not Sure Which Plan Fits?
You do not need to choose a plan before contacting me. I start by understanding your current environment, how many devices need to be managed, what technology the business depends on and what you are trying to accomplish.
From there, I can recommend the Managed IT plan that makes sense or tell you if a standalone assessment or project would be a better starting point.
Standalone Assessments & Project Services

If an assessment leads to additional remediation, implementation or Managed IT work with SNL-Tech Services, any applicable assessment credit will be discussed and documented as part of the new project scope before work begins.
Assessment Credit Policy
The Microsoft 365 Audit and Google Workspace Audit fees may be credited toward related implementation work with SNL-Tech Services when that work moves forward within 30 days of the completed audit.
The IT Baseline Assessment fee may be credited toward Managed IT onboarding or related implementation work with SNL-Tech Services when the business moves forward within 90 days of the completed assessment.
Other standalone assessments do not automatically include a follow up credit. If a credit or bundled price applies to additional remediation, implementation or project work, it will be specifically included in the proposal.
